Meet Alley Rose

If you’ve come looking for some profound words of writerly wisdom, I am sorry for I will have to disappoint you. The truth is, I am just a goblin cracked out on energy drinks, screaming incoherently into a mushroom void.

That being said, sometimes, the void screams back, and when it does I make stories happen.

I live in Portland, OR with my family where I’ve worked hard to earn a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and English Literature from SNHU and a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Book Publishing from PSU.

Since then, I’ve begun to cultivate my own take on urban fantasy in a subgenre I like to call Pacific Northwest Gothic.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me in the woods looking at cool dead things.

What Is Pacific Northwest Gothic?

Pacific Northwest Gothic is a sub-genre of urban fantasy media characterized by bleak settings in the Pacific Northwest, flawed (and often disturbing) characters, and the darker side of the Pacific Northwest where horror lurks in isolated, rural areas and bustling city centers alike.
